About this independent tour

This is a private itinerary including a private transfers and local English-speaking tour guides for excursions and sightseeing. The itinerary is completely flexible, so you can choose your number of nights, change hotel category, add excursions and extend your holiday. There is an option of including meals wherever desired. Please fill the form at the end of the itinerary for any changes and tailor the tour according to your need basis.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Mumbai

  • After arriving at Mumbai International Airport our representative will meet you as you exit and transfer you to your hotel.
  • Mumbai is the commercial capital of India. It is also known as the city that never sleeps.
  • Mumbai is the perfect blend of culture, customs and lifestyles. Overnight at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon proceed for sightseeing tour of Khajuraho visiting eastern and western group of Temples.
  • The tour of Khajuraho to day concentrates on the famous erotic temples, which represent some of the finest examples of temple architecture in Northern India.

Day 2

In Mumbai

  • Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast proceed for the Half Day Mumbai Sightseeing Tour.
  • After noon we will take you for an introduction to Persian Food experience, guests would be able to learn how to cook and interact with the Chef who is the best in Mumbai for this cuisine.
  • On reaching the host family, you shall be welcomed with some welcome drink and later host will make you understand the spices and its origin and its health benefits too and start the cooking together as a team. After cooking enjoy the meal and sit and chat with the chef.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

Mumbai - Nasik

  • After breakfast full day excursion to Nasik for a vineyard tour your tour which is to one of the pioneer vineyards in the city.
  • During your tour, you will get ample of opportunities to get acquainted with the different stages in wine preparation.
  • After the tour return back to the Mumbai.
  • If time permits & if you like to explore more, we suggest you to visit Persian Darbar on Linking Road iconic restaurant famous for Arabian Food for the lover of non-vegetarian lover it’s a must to visit Behndi Bazaar.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

Mumbai – Cochin

  • Upon arrival in Cochin, you will be met by our representative, who will transfer you from the airport to your hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, proceed for check-in at the hotel.
  • he city of Cochin has European influences in the architecture of this charming town picturesquely located on several islands squeezed between the Arabian Sea and the Kerala backwaters are instantly apparent.
  • In the evening, we are welcomed at the home of the local culinary icon, Mrs.Nimmy Paul. Nimmy is recognized for her authentic recipes promoting healthy lifestyle as well as her knowledge of medicinal properties of spices and herbs used in everyday cooking.

Day 5

Cochin – Chennai

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, half day tour of Kochi visit St. Francis Church the oldest European church in India, the highly-decorated Santa Cruz Basilica followed by visit to the harbor where we see the famous Chinese fishing nets.
  • Upon arrival in Chennai, you will be met by our representative, who will transfer you from the airport to directly for cooking demo at Chennai.
  • The south Indian state of Tamil Nadu abounds with various tourist attractions, whose large chunk is occupied by man-made marvels especially temples. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6

In Chennai

  • After breakfast, visit Theosophical Society, Known as the "Huddleston Gardens", Sri Parthasarathy Temple, St. Mary's Church, San Thome Church, Fort St. George.
  • Afternoon some time free to relax at the hotel or explore Chennai on your own you may like to Visit: Mint Street or snow carpet area serves amazing authentic Tamil Nadu dishes.
  • Early evening you will be taken to Chennai Cooking Demo at Ms.SabithaRadhakrishnan’s house (Chennai).
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7

Chennai – Hyderabad

  • Upon arrival in Hyderabad, you will be met by our representative, who will transfer you from the airport to your hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, proceed for check-in at the hotel.
  • After you have freshened up, take a tour of the Palace with the in-house historian that ends with a classic Palace High Tea.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8

In Hyderabad

  • The cuisine of Hyderabad is a result of its history of over four centuries and the right to good food is simply taken for granted by both the people of this city and visitors.
  • Today as you take a food walk through the busy vegetable markets and by-lanes of the old city, you will get a glimpse into the food ethos of this region as well as get a first- hand experience of the Hyderabadi passion for good food.
  • Khajuraho is not something that can be described in words - it has to be experienced.
  • Later, begin your exploration of this former capital of a royal domain that’s filled with interesting palaces, museums and other cultural sites. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9

In Hyderabad

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • After breakfast, time for the most awaited, is the city’s quintessential "Biryani tour". One of the most popular dishes of Hyderbadi cuisine is the Biryani. The afternoon is at leisure.
  • Today a special farewell dinner at an exclusive venue, you will get to enjoy a tasting menu put together by the Chef that aims to showcase the best dishes India and this city to offer.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10

Hyderabad –Lucknow

  • Upon arrival in Lucknow, you will be met by our representative, who will transfer you from the airport to your hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, proceed for check-in at the hotel.
  • Later in evening, you will be picked from your hotel for Heritage Walk, we will reach 'Chowk' the oldest market place of Lucknow to shop for the unique crafts of this Nawabi City.
  • When in Lucknow, how can the talk about the food be left behind. .
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11

In Lucknow

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • After breakfast you will visit Sadat Ali & Begum Tombs and the ‘ChatarManzil’ (Outside view only), we reach the world’s most unique architecture, 'AsifiImamba.
  • Later we reach the Husainabad Complex - The Clock Tower is the highest Clock Tower in Asia and in some ways superior to its counterpart, 'Big Ben'.
  • Afternoon proceed for the Beyond Kebab Walk -Vegetarian Cuisine in Lucknow is as rich as its non-vegetarian fare and held equally in high regard for its recipes and age-old traditions.
  • The highlight of your visit to Lucknow is this evening’s Exclusive Family Dinner. We will arrive at the home of an erstwhile Royal family.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12

Lucknow– Agra

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • After breakfast, you will be driven to Agra. Arrive Agra and transfer to hotel for check-in.
  • Agra in terms of ambiance is still associated with its Mughal period. The Mughals besides being great rulers were also great builders and they preserved their best architectural wonders for Agra & its neighborhood.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13

Agra – Jaipur

  • Early morning proceeds to visit Taj Mahal by Sunrise.
  • Visit the world-famous Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan in 1560 in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains.
  • Following visit, return to your hotel for breakfast.
  • After breakfast drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and transfer to hotel for check-in.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14

In Jaipur

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • After breakfast, proceed for the excursion of Amber Fort - Standing tall over a small hillock overlooking the Pink city, Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort-Palace.
  • Afternoon proceed for the half day sightseeing tour of Jaipur which includes the visit to the Maharaja's City Palace- the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15

Jaipur – Delhi

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • After breakfast you will be driven to Delhi. Upon arrival transfer to hotel for check in.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 16

In Delhi

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi
  • Old Delhi - Old Delhi is a world all in its own. As you meander through the bustling streets of this Mughal nerve-center of old, is difficult to imagine that way back in 1648,
  • Later continue sightseeing tour of New Delhi.
  • Evening you will be taken for taken to cooking demo at Saffron Plate followed by dinner.
  • Following activity, return to your hotel.
  • Overnight at the hotel.
  • Flying off to home later the next morning.
