World Heritage Sites

There are currently five world heritage sites in Thailand which are recognised by the UNESCO. Three of these inscribed sites are historical while the other two are natural. Apart from the five sites which currently hold world heritage status, the government of Thailand has also a tentative list of six other sites which may be recognised by UNESCO in the future.
