About this independent tour

This is a private itinerary including a private transfers and local English-speaking tour guides for excursions and sightseeing. The itinerary is completely flexible, so you can choose your number of nights, change hotel category, add excursions and extend your holiday. There is an option of including meals wherever desired. Please fill the form at the end of the itinerary for any changes and tailor the tour according to your need basis.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1

Delhi - Rishikesh

  • In the morning, we’ll drive to Rishikesh, a small town iin northern state of Uttarakhand, scenically located where the Ganges River comes down from the Himalayas.
  • On arrival, check into your hotel.

Day 2

Rishikesh - Rudraprayag

  • After an early breakfast drive to Rudraprayag via Deoprayag. On arrival at Rudraprayag, check into your hotel.
  • Confluence of Alaknanda&Mandakini, Rudraprayag, Auli

Day 3

Rudraprayag–Joshimath

  • In the morning after breakfast at hotel, drive (120 kms – 4 to 5 hrs journey) to reach Joshimath. On arrival check in at hotel.
  • Visit Auli and return back to Joshimath.

Day 4

Joshimath - GovindghatGhanghria

  • After an early morning breakfast, we start our drive to Govindghat. On arrival in at Govindghat prepare for your trek to Ghanghria – The base of Valley of flowers &Hemkund Sahib.
  • Ponies & Porters would be available in Govindghat to carry your luggage.

Day 5

Ghanghria - Hemkund Sahib –Ghanghria

  • After breakfast we leave with packed lunch for a 6 kms trek to Hemkund Sahib (a Sikh religious place) on the banks of Hemkund Lake at a height of 4320 mts.
  • One of the most revered of all sikh shrines, Hemkund Sahib is the world’s highest Gurudwara.
  • After visiting Hemkund Sahib, return back to Ghanghria for overnight.

Day 6

Ghanghria - Valley of Flowers –Ghanghria

  • After an early morning breakfast, embark on a 4 kms trek to Valley Of Flowers (3858 m).
  • The trail is well chalked out, and is a delightful ramble as it climbs gently through a coniferous forest, before descending to a bridge, and check-post that mark the official entry to the Valley of Flowers.

Day 7

Ghanghria - Govindghat–Rudraprayag

  • In the morning after breakfast we trek to Govindghat, from where we proceed to Rudraprayag in vehicles.

Day 8

Rudraprayag–Haridwar

  • Early morning, after breakfast, you drive downhill to Haridwar. On reaching Haridwar you'll be transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.
  • In the evening, you'll be taken to Har-ki-Paudi to participate in the Ganga aarti on the banks of Ganges.

Day 9

Haridwar– Delhi

  • This morning, after breakfast you are on the last lap of the journey.
  • Drive back to Delhi. On arrival, depart for Airport or Railway Station on your own.
